No, there is no need to sign up to the app or create an account with us. Anyone can start a new project instantly by visiting the New Project page. Optionally, if you would like to take advantage of some PRO features (e.g., store and sync multiple projects to the cloud), you can sign up for a PRO account.

It certainly is. By default, when you use statscloud, your data never leaves your device; it is not sent to a server for analysis, or stored anywhere other than your own device, even temporarily. Absolutely nothing about your project (the data or the analyses) is seen by anyone but you. For PRO users, your project data is stored on a secure GDPR-compliant server which you are free to remove at any time.

Yes, we designed statscloud to meet W3C accessibility standards right from the start, a pre-requsitive for the use of software in education. It is compatible with screen-readers and can be navigated with just a keyboard. We're constantly reviewing the app to make sure it is as accessible as possible and you can find all the latest updates on accessibility in our accessibility statement.

Yes! We offer schools, colleges, universities, and businesses the option to host their own version of statscloud. In doing so, you'll have access to an administrator's dashboard that will allow you to add your own users and customise the app to your needs. You can also control exactly what will appear in your users' dashboards; you can provide your own data sets and example projects for them. You can even provide your own documentation too. Not at all. The technical requirements of running an instance of statscloud are very small. If you would like to host an instance of statscloud, we can either provide you with all the tools you need to set this up yourself, or we can set it up on a bespoke server for you remotely. Our intention is to offer the most complete solution for teaching statistics in social sciences. As well as offering a statistics package that is free and always available for everyone, we intend to make statscloud a community-driven project where our users can extend the functionaity of statscloud. The app is already establishing itself as the new standard in statistics software and these additions will help cement it as the go-to app for teaching statistics in social sciences.
